Registration Dates: March 12th - July 20th
Dates & Location: Practices begin the 1st week of August. Games begin in Late August and run through the end of October. Games will be played on Saturdays at Bradford, Tremper and Indian Trail High Schools.
Combine dates-Sunday, July 22nd and Monday, July 23rd.
Cost: $165. A membership to The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha is included along with the team jersey, game pants and game socks.
Free/Reduced Lunch: Children who receive free or reduced lunch can register at a reduced rate with a letter from KUSD at the cost of $115
Active Military Families: Fee is waived for one sport per calendar year. Must have military ID and fill out military voucher.
Feeder Program: BGC Sports will feature a feeder program for Bradford, Tremper and Indian Trail High Schools for participants in 1st - 5th grade. Additionally, all BGC sports football teams will play in a travel league called SEYFA (South East Youth Football Alliance) to improve competition and get our community competing against teams in close proximity to Kenosha.
The 6th - 8th grade participants will be separated by grade and placed in divisions for the child's grade for the 2018-2019 school year. The 6th - 8th grade divisions will also play in the travel league SEYFA but will not follow the feeder program format in 2018. All teams will be divided up via the draft as in previous years. Players may return to play with their coach from last year or they may request specific teams or coaches (*requests not guaranteed to be fulfilled). All teams in the 6th - 8th grade division will also recieve new and improved team uniforms and a feeder team T-shirt of their choice. The 6th - 8th grade division will progressively transition into the Feeder Program grade-by-grade each year.
Divisions: All teams will have about 18-20 kids. All divisions have 100% participation meaning all kids will have a starting position on either offense or defense for the whole game. Red stripes are not allowed to carry the ball.
1st & 2nd Grade: Suggested minimum weight- 40 lbs. Red stripe rule applies at 80 lbs.
3rd & 4th Grade: Suggested minimum weight- 50 lbs. Red stripe rule applies at 100 lbs.
5th Grade: Ball carrier weight limit TBD.
6th Grade: Ball carrier weight limit TBD.
7th Grade: Ball carrier weight limit TBD.
8th Grade: Ball carrier weight limit TBD.
